Overview

Contract Role: Software/Solution Architect

IR35: INSIDE

Day Rate: £450-£500

Location: London (1 day per week onsite)

Start Date: ASAP

Length: 6+ months

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer with strong architectural expertise to support one of our clients whose products operate within the financial services domain. The role involves contributing to both new initiatives and enhancements to existing products.

You will play a key role in designing and validating architectural solutions, creating proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and supporting engineering teams in delivering scalable, secure, and resilient systems that meet both current and evolving business requirements.

This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled engineer or principal developer looking to progress into a dedicated solution architecture position.

Responsibilities
  • Design and validate architectural solutions for financial services products.
  • Create proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate feasibility and guide implementation.
  • Support engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet current and evolving business requirements.

  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles and hands-on experience with proofs of concept
