• Job Title: Security Software Engineer
• Engagement: Full time
• Location: Hybrid in Sofia, Bulgaria
• Languages: Fluent in English
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract: 12 months + extension

Skills required:

• Strong software engineering background
• Proven experience in application security or secure software engineering
• Ability to read, understand, and critique code security perspective
• Experience with SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and other security tools
• Familiarity with secure software design principles, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and common web and API vulnerabilities
• Experience with threat modelling and secure architecture reviews
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and how they relate to secure development
• Threat Modeling certification
