Software Engineer (Vice President, Finance Engineering)

Requirements

• You should have a strong background in software development, expert level knowledge of SQL, and a good understanding of crypto trading
• You should have the ability to work independently, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a desire to own issues and see them through to resolution
• Excellent programming skills in Python and strong working knowledge of Pandas and PySpark libraries
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Experience with integration of multiple platforms
• Experience with ETL processes
• Experience providing first-line support for business clients
• Full SDLC process experience
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• (Desirable) Technical experience with Databricks or any similar Delta Lake platforms
• (Desirable) Experience working with large datasets
• (Desirable) Experience with AWS cloud deployments and API
• (Desirable) Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• (Desirable) Experience with Go, C#, or Java
• (Desirable) Familiarity with financial statements (e.g. balance sheets, income statements / PnL)
• (Desirable) Familiarity with Crypto trading (spot, DeFi, and derivatives)
