Software Engineer (Performance & Resilience Testing) - SC Required - 3-4 months initially - £620/day Inside IR35 (Paid to the umbrella company) - Hybrid/London
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in performance and load testing for scalable systems
- Hands-on expertise in fault injection and resilience testing methodologies
- Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerised environments
- Experience with testing frameworks/tools in cloud-native ecosystems
- Solid understanding of system reliability, scalability, and monitoring practices
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance and load testing strategies across distributed systems
- Implement fault injection scenarios to validate system resilience and failure recovery
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise Kubernetes-based deployments
- Analyse test results and provide actionable insights to improve system performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tooling within the engineering team
