Job Description

As the second engineer at Kult, you will build a real time AI voice assistant that watches gameplay and provides expert advice without needing an alt tab. You will orchestrate complex LLM pipelines, develop low latency voice interactions, and scale a deep game knowledge engine to enhance the experience for players across every genre.

What you will do

• Design and implement real time voice interaction systems that feel natural and responsive enough for high stakes competitive gaming environments.
• Architect a massive knowledge engine that extracts and models complex game mechanics, items, and strategies from diverse, unstructured data sources.
• Develop computer vision systems to recognize game states and player context in milliseconds, delivering proactive assistance through natural conversation.

The ideal candidate

• Expert level TypeScript full stack skills with deep experience in Node.js, React, and Postgres, capable of owning features from schema to UI.
• Proven experience building with LLMs, specifically orchestrating multi step reasoning, prompt engineering, and managing context assembly under strict latency constraints.
• A dedicated gamer with deep domain expertise in RPGs, strategy, or competitive titles who intuitively understands what players need mid session.
