Amazon Pay India is expanding its footprint in NCR regions and is looking for passionate, experienced, talented engineers eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. Team Impact

The Amazon Pay Rewards Team aims to make every customer transaction rewarding and financially sustainable. To achieve this, the team is investing in product innovations like instant bank discounts, No Cost EMI, and exchange discounts. During large promotional events like Diwali, these features are key levers to attract shoppers, contributing to rapid growth and enabling over 5 million neighborhood stores. Our revenue grew over 64% to Rs 1,370 crore in fiscal 2019, with a major positive impact on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. The Rewards platform is used by tens of millions of users in India, and this role offers the chance to impact how millions shop on Amazon.

Launched in March 2019, Amazon Pay Rewards has significantly influenced customer behavior. This role involves working on customer-facing features like instant bank discounts, No Cost EMI, and exchange discounts, providing a creative, startup-like environment at the heart of Amazon innovation. Engineers will work on a variety of technologies including AWS Elastic Search, Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, and more, building scalable, low latency, mobile-first products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire development lifecycle of solutions with significant impact.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and launch innovative products and services.
• Work with senior engineers on technical design and approach for new products.
• Ensure best practices in software development, documentation, and quality within tight schedules.
• Monitor and operate production services to ensure operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
• Experience programming in at least one software language.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
