Location: Birkenhead (CH41)
Hours: Full-time 36 hours per week
Start Date: 15/06/2025
End Date: 07/09/2025
Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:30
Pay Rate:
- Weekday: £33.97/hr
- Weekend: £34.32/hr
Key Health is seeking an Experienced Social Worker to join a dynamic Adults Community Team in Birkenhead. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for a skilled professional passionate about delivering high-quality social work that safeguards and empowers adults and families.
What You'll Do:
- Independently manage a diverse and complex caseload.
- Complete Care Act assessments, support planning, and mental capacity assessments.
- Handle safeguarding concerns, risk assessments, and reviews.
- Collaborate across departments and external agencies for integrated care.
- Offer expert advice and represent the team in professional settings.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to court reports where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely information, advice, and access to services to reduce risks and improve outcomes.
- Conduct statutory assessments and create person-centred support plans.
- Participate in multi-agency working and case discussions.
- Ensure legal and ethical compliance with HCPC standards.
- Support colleagues with professional insights and direction.
- Demonstrate best practices and contribute to service improvement.
Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the UK (No sponsorship available).
- Minimum 2 years UK experience in a social work role.
- Background in Local Authority Adult or Children's Services.
- HCPC registration (must be valid and evidenced).
- Recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
