Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and community care services.

We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers - Respite Services-Part Time in Dublin, Ireland.

Contract: Permanent

Working Hours:

20 hours per week, worked across 7 days, including evenings, weekends, and waking night shifts.

Actual salary will be pro rata based on 20 hours per week , excluding additional premiums for evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.

Location:

Balbriggan , Co. Dublin, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities

Support individuals with daily living skills, personal development, and social inclusion

Promote independence, choice, dignity, and quality of life

Encourage community participation and meaningful activities

Work collaboratively as part of a professional multidisciplinary residential team

Ensure care and services are delivered in line with HIQA Standards, organisational policies, and best practice

Requirements

CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential)

QQI Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Social Care or a related discipline, and/or significant relevant experience leading to CORU registration

Full, clean manual driving licence (essential)

Previous experience working in disability services and/or residential care settings

Sound knowledge of HIQA Standards and regulatory requirements

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
