Location: Trim, Co. Meath
Contract Type: Specified Purpose Contract (Maternity Leave Cover - Job Share)
Working Hours: 20 hours per week
Working Pattern:
8:00am - 4:00pm on Thursday and Friday
8:00am - 4:00pm every second Wednesday
Salary Scale: €38,333 - €55,244 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent).
Actual salary will be calculated on a pro rata basis in line with contracted hours.
ResponsibilitiesSupport individuals to build independence and enhance daily living skills, promoting autonomy in personal care, communication, decision making, and routine activities.
Facilitate participation in community, creative, and social activities, encouraging inclusion, skill development, and active engagement in meaningful experiences.
Promote confidence, overall wellbeing, and the development of meaningful relationships, fostering social connection, emotional resilience, and a sense of belonging.
Requirements- CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential).
- QQI Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Social Care or a related discipline, and/or significant relevant experience leading to CORU registration.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
- Full, clean manual driving licence.
- Experience working within disability services (desirable).
- Knowledge of the New Directions framework (advantageous).
