Job Description

Global Veterinary Careers is proud to be working with a well-established, hospital-status practice in a stunning coastal location in Hampshire, offering an exceptional opportunity for two Small Animal Vets to join their growing and progressive team.

Whether you're looking to develop advanced surgical or diagnostic skills, or just want to be part of a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking practice, this role can be shaped around you.

The Opportunity: This is a rare chance to join a high-performing hospital practice with a strong team ethos, modern equipment, and a genuine focus on work-life balance. The leadership team listens to individual needs and will tailor a rota that works for you.

There are two vacancies available, and the practice is open to Vets at different stages in their career:

One role is ideal for someone with experience and ambition to take on more complex cases and progress into a more senior clinical role.

The other is a great fit for someone who values being part of a large, skilled team delivering excellent first opinion care with full support.

Why You'll Love It Here:

Purpose-built, well-equipped hospital with all the tools you'd expect (ultrasound, laparoscopy, endoscopy, full ICU, internal lab & more)

Weekly visiting orthopaedic specialist and in-house ophthalmology referral service

Outstanding location near the coast and in the heart of a National Park - perfect for cycling, walking, sailing or just enjoying life outside of work

Strong clinical support team: 19 vets, 21 RVNs, and 3 SVNs, including multiple certificate and diploma holders

Flexible rota and part-time options available

Supportive of further qualifications, including CertAVP and Advanced Practitioner status

Out of Hours: OOH cover is shared, but a hybrid system means most night duties are handled by a dedicated night team - your OOH contribution is negotiable and won't dominate your rota.

What's on Offer:

Salary up to £83,000 DOE (includes OOH contributions)

6 weeks holiday (including bank holidays), with an extra day each year for the first 5 years

Holiday buy scheme - up to 2 additional weeks per year

Staff discount scheme

Generous CPD allowance - with certificates and further development fully supported

Clinical freedom and genuine input into how the practice operates

If you're looking for a truly progressive practice that balances excellent clinical standards with a brilliant working culture and beautiful location, we'd love to hear from you.
