Site Supervisor - Railway

Brussels - Permanent Contract

For our client specialized in the railway sector, we are looking for a motivated and self-driven Site Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling a wide range of responsibilities, from operational tasks to strategic coordination.

What are your responsibilities ?

• Ensure the quality of works in line with project designs and specifications.
• Monitor compliance with construction schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, partners, and subcontractors for site and material handovers.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards on site.
• Optimize the use of internal and external resources according to project budget and timeline.
• Develop site-specific plans in collaboration with the Construction Manager.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
• Assist in ensuring timely availability of materials on site as per the agreed work schedule.

Who are you ?

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in reading and producing technical drawings and reports.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project is a plus.
• Familiarity with signalling, power supply, and traction systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Awareness of HSE standards.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
• Valid driving license in Belgium.

Education & Experience:

• Experience in the railway sector is a must.
• Technical high school diploma (Electrical/Mechanical/Telecom) or Engineering degree, or equivalent technical background.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in site supervision, technical coordination, or electromechanical maintenance in railway or metro environments.

Languages:

• Good command of French and English, both technical and fluent.
• Knowledge of Dutch or Italian is an asset.

Working Conditions:

• This role includes participation in night shifts, compensated accordingly, as part of a structured on-call system.
