Job Description

Site Reliability Engineer - Cloud/On-Prem/AWS-Azure/Linux/Automation/CI-CD

Project:
For our international client in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, implement and operate highly reliable cloud and on-premise infrastructure. In this role, you will combine strong software engineering capabilities with infrastructure and operations expertise to improve reliability, scalability and performance of business-critical platforms.

Assignments:
* Design, implement and maintain reliable cloud and on-prem infrastructure architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP, Linux and/or Microsoft environments)
* Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling in Python, Go, Java and/or Bash to streamline operations and reduce manual work
* Build, operate and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, delivery and deployment
* Implement and manage monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and rapid incident detection
* Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for consistent, repeatable and auditable environment provisioning
* Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis and drive long-term reliability improvements

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role
* Strong hands-on experience with cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Linux, or Microsoft server environments
* Strong development and Scripting skills in Python, Go, Java, Bash, or similar, with a focus on automation
* Proven experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor

Languages:
* Englisch fluent (C1/C2 Level)
* German nice to have
