Site Manager (Mechanical & Electrical)

My client is looking to appoint a Site Manager for an initial 6 month contract. The role involves proactive and reactive on site installation and service solutions for unit and materials handling systems within live operational airports.

• Installation of conveyors (baggage handling) with some small structure
• Mechanical and electrical, planning of scaffolding - civils
• Planning of logistics
• Organising and planning workforce
• Giving instructions to skilled engineers and operatives
• Ensuring systems are working properly (RAMs)
• Health & safety on site
• Isolation procedures and payment to work systems
• Integrating with the client on a daily and weekly basis
• Chairing meetings, working alongside contractors
• Reporting and recording data
• Holding toolbox talks, briefs and progress meetings
• Updating and upgrading systems

• Experience with conveyors / mechanical handling equipment
• Site management experience in an airport environment
• Experience managing multiple operatives
• Client facing experience
• SMSTS certification
• CSCS Black card
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications
