Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager for a 6-week industrial strip-out and roofing project in Carlisle, starting Monday 19th October.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site operatives
• Plan and coordinate strip-out and roofing activities
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the programme
• Maintain high standards of health & safety across the site
• Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
• Review RAMS and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved methods
• Maintain accurate site records, diaries and progress reports
• Monitor quality and ensure works meet the required standards
• Liaise with the project team, subcontractors and client representatives
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays to the programme
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and housekeeping

Requirements:

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Fire Marshal
• Asbestos Awareness
• Good IT skills, including the ability to complete site documentation and reporting electronically
• Strong knowledge of construction health & safety
• Previous Site Manager experience, ideally on industrial, strip-out, refurbishment or roofing projects
