We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Site Manager to join our high performing team.

Reporting to: Contracts Manager

Location: Clondalkin, Co Dublin

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

Hours: Monday - Friday

Role Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the management of site-based teams of company employees and subcontractors.
  • Responsible for delivery of projects in line with tender allowances and agreed programmes of work, actively managing any slippage.
  • Responsible for sub-contractor performance, ensuring variations are kept to an absolute minimum.
  • Timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, safely and within budget.
  • Attend internal and external review and progress meetings.
  • Co ordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in house functions, site installation & construction teams.
  • Monitor legislative & programme performance of sub-contractor as per own team.
  • Site based change is identified and communicated to engineering / commercial & support team within one week of occurrence.
  • Programme slippage is actively managed and mitigation plans implemented accordingly to minimise impact.
  • Motivate and lead team members, identifying and effectively managing underperformance in line with company procedures.
  • Projects delivered ahead of agreed programmes.
  • Acts as an ambassador for the company by supporting, promoting and implementing all company and Business Unit initiatives.
  • Responsible for communicating and recording of all Corporate, SHEQ or Business Unit briefings.
  • Induct new employees and subcontractors onsite in line with legislative requirements and company procedures.
  • Work in collaboration with the SHEQ department and support any actions or recommendations from such.
  • Maintain accurate records and good documentation practices, being audit ready at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Possess a relevant qualification in construction management OR have a minimum of five years' experience working in construction management.
  • A Minimum of 5 years management experience delivering Residential projects to completion.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects to the highest quality with emphasis on safe and efficient construction.
  • Working knowledge of the Irish construction industry, regulations and standards.
