Your client is a large developer and main contractor that operates nationally. They have won several projects in the Edinburgh region, which has led them to require site management teams.

Project Details

The projects in mind are a mixture of hotels and BTR apartments, ranging from £24 million to £65 million. The ideal Site Manager will have a stable work history, a strong building background, and experience working for a main building contractor on projects valued up to £30 million.

They will be responsible for full project understanding, having proved delivery experience on new builds and working from inception to completion and handover.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate sub contracting trades and labour on site, ensuring adherence to the tightest health and safety procedures.
  • Ensure all sub contractors follow plans, programmes and meet required deadlines.
  • Lead the site throughout the full project life cycle, following the specifications of a new build project.
  • Maintain project progress and hand over documentation.
Qualifications
  • Stable work history with a strong building background.
  • Experience on main contract projects up to £30 million.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
  • Proven delivery experience on new builds.
  • Full understanding of the new build project life cycle.
