Site Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team for a short-term civils project based in Huddersfield. This is a temporary position with an initial duration of one month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing on-site labour and coordinating daily activities
• Overseeing the excavation of chambers, sheet piling, and temporary works
• Completing all required paperwork to ensure project compliance
• Conducting daily briefings to keep the team informed and aligned
• Liaising with the construction management team and providing regular progress updates
• Ensuring all Health & Safety protocols are in place and being strictly adhered to

Job Requirements:

• Experience as a Civils Site Manager
• Knowledge of temporary works and civil engineering principles
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage on-site activities effectively
• Proficiency in completing project documentation and paperwork
• Ability to conduct daily briefings and communicate effectively with the team
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
• Experience in excavating chambers and sheet piling
