About the JobArdmac are recruiting a site manager to work on cleanroom projects located in the Kildare area. The company has a strong pipeline of projects in this sector and attractive career development opportunities.
Responsibilities of the Site Manager Safety- Deliver Projects in accordance with Ardmac Safety First Guiding Principles.
- Ensure site specific induction training is carried out for all personnel under Ardmac control.
- The development of or ensuring the development of safe systems of work utilising generic risk assessments to develop task specific assessments.
- Ensuring contract specific site safety statements are developed including all sub-contracted works. These safety statements must be maintained as 'live' documents for the duration of the project.
- Ensure where any work is executed in public areas and occupied buildings, that adequate control measures are implemented to ensure the safety of anyone who may be affected
- Ensuring adequate supervision is in place for all relevant site works
- Ensure there is adequate control of materials, plant and equipment to prevent loss by damage, waste, theft or unnecessary hire charges.
- Identify and issue RFI's to design team.
- Ensure Site Daily Diary is completed on all sites.
- Ensuring all works installed as per correct issue of drawings and that works are inspected to ensure compliance to specification.
- Ensuring environmental management plans are developed and implemented
- Ensuring works are monitored and inspected on sites on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the contract and any variations.
- Ensure adequate Site establishment, welfare facilities and ongoing professional appearances of sites are maintained.

- High level of knowledge in safety
- Knowledge of construction methods and best practice, technologies and materials.
- Knowledge and projection of Ardmac's contractual position, contracts and documents
- Knowledge & understanding of subcontract/ material procurement
- Knowledge of Management Systems
- Experience of site / construction management in regulated / controlled environments is preferred (eg cleanroom, data centre).
