Job Description

Lead one of the UK's busiest fresh produce sites - with a strong focus on potatoes.

At Myton Food Group, we supply a wide range of fresh produce to a diverse customer base including major retailers, foodservice providers, and other commercial partners. Our Gadbrook site is a high-performing, fast-paced operation, handling multiple fresh categories with a core focus on fresh and prepared potatoes, alongside stone fruit and grapes.

This site alone produces over 1 million packs each week, processing more than 62,000 tonnes annually, and manages a daily pick operation of around 40,000 baskets for one of our biggest customers.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Site Manager with the experience, energy and leadership to take the site to the next level - particularly someone with deep expertise in potatoes, from field to fork.

What you'll do:

  • Own the full site operation, from raw material intake to finished goods despatch ensuring safety, efficiency and great quality every step of the way
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams across Production, Technical, Engineering and Hygiene
  • Champion best-in-class standards across safety, service, people and cost
  • Build and maintain a culture where people thrive, collaborate, and consistently deliver for a broad mix of customers
  • Drive continuous improvement, leveraging automation, data, and lean ways of working
  • Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to support growth, innovation and future investment
  • Play a lead role in launching new products and delivering CAPEX projects
  • Be a subject matter expert for potato handling, processing and quality - ensuring we get it right, every time
About you

What you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Director within FMCG or food manufacturing
  • In-depth knowledge of potatoes, particularly in fresh and prepared formats
  • Strong technical and compliance background with a food safety-first mindset
  • Skilled in leading large, cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment
  • Confident working with a range of external customers and internal stakeholders
  • Commercially savvy, with a drive for performance and continuous improvement

In return for your hard work we will offer you:

  • Six weeks holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Annual bonus of up to 30%

  • £6,550 car allowance

  • Pension (5% colleague and 10% Morrisons)

  • Private Healthcare for you and immediate family

  • Opportunity to invest in the Morrisons Investment Plan

  • 15% discount in our stores available from the day you join us
  • Additional 10% discount card for a friend or family member
