Job Description


️ Your Tasks

As a Simulation Engineering Intern, you will work as part of an international R&D team to support the development and optimization of E-motor designs through advanced modeling and simulation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and applying simulation techniques using commercial tools (e.g., COMSOL, Abaqus) and MATLAB.
  • Analyzing the impact of geometric features on key E-motor performance metrics, such as efficiency, durability, and NVH (noise, vibration, harshness).
  • Creating, validating, and refining physics-based models to simulate multi-domain behavior.
  • Designing and improving simulation workflows and calculation methods to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Generating technical insights and simulation data to support product design decisions and performance optimization.


Qualifications


What You Bring:

  • You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or similar direction;
  • You are proficient in English verbal and written;
  • You are available for the minimum internship period of 6 months, preferably longer;
  • You can work at our office in Tilburg;
  • You are based in the Netherlands, preferably near Tilburg.


What distinguishes you:

  • Knowledge of Comsol, Abacus, Matlab;
  • Strong interest in multiphysics simulation;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Strong motivation;
  • Creative mind and a good organizer;
  • Team player and able to work independently;
  • Proactive and not afraid to take charge;
  • Open attitude, suitable for an internationally oriented environment;
