Red Chair Recruitment are recruiting a Showroom Assistantfor our client, a well-established home improvement supply and installation company based in Tralee. Specialising in tiles, bathrooms and stoves, the company is known for quality products and excellent customer service.
This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who enjoys a customer-focused showroom environment and wants to grow their career in the home improvement sector. You will guide customers through product selection, provide expert advice, and help bring their home renovation projects to life.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and assist customers in the showroom, providing advice on suitable product.
- Deliver a consultative sales experience by understanding customer needs
- Prepare quotations, process orders and manage enquiries from consultation to sale
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide after-sales support
- Work closely with colleagues and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Stay up to date with product ranges and industry trends
- Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience (home improvement/showroom experience advantageous)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Target-driven with good organisational and follow-up ability
