Shop Manager. Sue Ryder Charity shop, 2 Ross House, Stow-on-the-Wold, Cheltenham GL54 1AF. 37.5 hours per week over 7 days. Salary £26,397.39 per annum, plus reward and benefit scheme.
Working fully timed, on a permanent contract. This position supports Sue Ryder's mission to provide end of life care and bereavement services, generating funding through retail sales.

ResponsibilitiesAs Shop Manager you will:
- Drive business, push sales, and achieve targets.
- Lead a large volunteer team, recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers.
- Provide high quality customer service to donors and customers.
- Set and maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards.
- Manage stock processes, ensuring the shop is well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.
- Manage the Epos operation and maintain financial and IT administration.
- Prioritise health and safety for yourself and your team.
- Experience leading high street or charity retail operations.
- Strong commercial awareness, sales, and KPI achievement.
- Excellent team leadership and volunteer management skills.
- Positive can do attitude and customer focused mindset.
- Financial literacy and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or equivalent).
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a retail setting.
- Experience in organising stock rotation and merchandising.
