People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Shop Floor Manager to join our well-established client based in Location TBC .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering Monday-to-Friday working hours, a varied role combining shop-floor management, customer service, stock control and online order fulfilment, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Shop Floor Manager, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Shop Floor Management
• Coordinating the day-to-day running of the shop floor to maintain an efficient workflow
• Supporting and coordinating shop-floor colleagues as required
• Ensuring daily tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented shop environment
• Ensuring stock and displays are organised appropriately
Customer Service and Sales
• Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service
• Handling telephone enquiries and processing customer orders
• Identifying and selecting the correct items for customer orders
• Preparing invoices and processing customer payments
• Resolving customer queries and issues promptly and professionally
Stock Control and Deliveries
• Receiving, unpacking and checking incoming deliveries
• Sorting, organising and storing stock appropriately
• Supporting accurate stock control and inventory management
• Ensuring stock is readily available for customer orders and dispatch
Online Orders and Dispatch
• Picking and packing eBay orders accurately
• Preparing online orders for dispatch
• Supporting shipping and logistics arrangements
• Ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently and on time
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Shop Floor Manager, you will need:
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Ability to coordinate daily shop-floor activities effectively
• Good attention to detail when processing orders and handling stock
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Desirable Experience
• Previous retail, shop-floor or customer service experience
• Experience supervising or coordinating colleagues
• Previous stock control, order processing or dispatch experience
• Knowledge of Land Rover vehicles or the 4x4 industry
• Previous mechanical experience
• Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Experience handling eBay orders or other e-commerce sales
Training Provided
• Industry-related training
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
