This is a day Shift Manager role in our Outbound Department, working Sunday to Wednesday, 8am to 6.30pm.

What You'll Be Doing- Lead warehouse operations during your shift, ensuring tasks are completed safely and on time
- Supervise warehouse operatives, providing direction, feedback, and motivation
- Allocate labour and resources to meet daily targets across picking, packing, goods-in, and goods-out
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, ensuring all team members follow procedures
- Monitor productivity and quality levels, taking action to resolve issues
- Ensure accurate handling, storage, and movement of stock
- Communicate clearly with other departments and deliver thorough shift handovers
- Manage equipment use, reporting defects or maintenance needs
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Good understanding of warehouse processes (picking, packing, goods-in, goods-out, stock control)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make confident decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices
- Comfortable using warehouse management systems and basic IT tools
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Flexibility to work various shifts and support operational needs
This is a full-time on-site position. Working a 4-day week, with 10-hour shifts. Please note we may review and progress applications ahead of the closing date. We are not looking for agency support currently.
