Lead High-Volume Warehouse Operations in a Growing International Business

This is a day Shift Manager role in our Outbound Department, working Sunday to Wednesday, 8am to 6.30pm.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead warehouse operations during your shift, ensuring tasks are completed safely and on time
• Supervise warehouse operatives, providing direction, feedback, and motivation
• Allocate labour and resources to meet daily targets across picking, packing, goods-in, and goods-out
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, ensuring all team members follow procedures
• Monitor productivity and quality levels, taking action to resolve issues
• Ensure accurate handling, storage, and movement of stock
• Communicate clearly with other departments and deliver thorough shift handovers
• Manage equipment use, reporting defects or maintenance needs

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Good understanding of warehouse processes (picking, packing, goods-in, goods-out, stock control)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make confident decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of Health & Safety practices
• Comfortable using warehouse management systems and basic IT tools
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Flexibility to work various shifts and support operational needs

This is a full-time on-site position. Working a 4-day week, with 10-hour shifts. Please note we may review and progress applications ahead of the closing date. We are not looking for agency support currently.
