Shift Lead Technician
London - Battersea
Permanent - Continental Shift pattern
Salary - £48,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, plus private healthcare and flexible benefits
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Shift Lead Technician to take ownership of service delivery across a key client contract. You'll lead a team of Technicians, ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and customer care. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance technical expertise with people management and client engagement.
What You'll Be Doing- Lead and support your team to deliver excellent service across client sites.
- Manage PPM and reactive maintenance to meet SLAs and KPIs.
- Provide first-line leadership, performance reviews, and team development.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, statutory regulations, and internal procedures.
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships.
- Support with fault finding, quoting, and supervising small works and projects.
- Contribute to financial planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Previous experience at a senior level, ideally as a Multi-Skilled Technician.
- Strong background in Industrial, Commercial & Domestic systems, with experience in PPMs aligned to SFG20 or equivalent.
- Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Capable of supervising reactive repairs and small projects.
- Experienced in managing statutory and mandatory compliance records, including uploading to service systems.
- Relevant technical qualification or completed industry apprenticeship is essential.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to safety and quality.
