Temporary Contract: Mid-September - End of December

05:30-17:30
17:30-05:30
Hourly Rate: £13.85-£15:50 per hour shift dependant.
Join One of the UK's Largest Peak Operations
Pertemps is recruiting Seasonal Shift Coordinators to support the delivery of one of Royal Mail's busiest parcel operations during the Christmas peak.
Working alongside the Hub Management Team, you'll help coordinate a large temporary workforce, ensuring every shift is fully staffed, workers are supported throughout their assignment, and the operation runs safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Shift Coordinator, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of your allocated shift, including:
- Managing the attendance of temporary workers.
- Signing workers in and out each shift.
- Managing no-shows, lateness and absence.
- Contacting replacement workers to maintain staffing levels.
- Supporting new starters and ensuring they settle into their roles.
- Carrying out regular welfare checks with temporary workers.
- Supporting payroll by ensuring attendance records are accurate.
- Completing shift reports and communicating key updates during handovers.
- Helping to deliver workforce targets across a 24/7 operation.
