Job Description

SharePoint Specialist (M365)

Role Type: Full-time B2B
Contract: 6 months + extensions
Location: 100% Remote
Language: German mandatory (min. B2)

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Specialist to act as a key pillar within M365 operations, ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a core operational resource for Microsoft Teams & SharePoint Online (incl. OneDrive for Business)

  • Provide 2nd and intermediate 3rd level support across Teams and SharePoint platforms

  • Serve as primary operational backup to senior Teams & SharePoint experts

  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex platform-related issues

  • Perform daily administration via Teams Admin Center & SharePoint Admin Center

  • Manage Teams policies, voice configurations, SharePoint site collections, permissions, and governance

  • Support M365 integrations (Power Platform, Exchange, etc.)

  • Participate in on-call rotation to ensure business continuity

  • Support platform updates, maintenance, and small projects

  • Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge base

  • Ensure compliance with EU/German regulations and ISO standards

  • Assist with service reporting and platform health checks


Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

  • Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online

  • Experience with SharePoint On-Premise

  • Power Apps exposure within SharePoint environments

  • Solid Microsoft Teams administration experience

  • PowerShell Scripting for automation and reporting

  • Understanding of M365 ecosystem and Teams-SharePoint integration

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ITSM tools

  • German language skills (B2 or higher)

Nice to Have

  • Teams Voice exposure (PSTN, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, Call Queues)

  • Willingness to build deeper expertise in Teams Voice

  • Power Platform (Power Automate) experience


Certifications (Highly Valued)

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102)

  • Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700)

  • Teams Voice Engineer Expert (MS-720)

  • Legacy certifications (eg MCSE SharePoint) are a strong plus
