Service Manager
- Location: Oxford City, Oxfordshire, Berkshire (Note: Coverage of multiple sites may be required)
- Salary Range: £39,535 - £42,549
- Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week, flexible working options available)
Join our team as a Service Manager, where you will play a crucial role in the Wellbeing Management team. This position offers the opportunity to oversee various service areas, focusing on Resource Planning, Budget Management, Business Continuity, and Risk Management. You will also develop service areas by partnering with key stakeholders.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee the contracted delivery of services, ensuring compliance with KPIs, quality standards, and reporting requirements.
- Lead contract management meetings, escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Manage and support a team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Analyse service data to inform improvements and demonstrate the impact of our work.
- Engage with partners to enhance service provision and quality.
- Manage the overall budget for your service area.
- Contribute to the broader management and development of the Wellbeing Service.
- Represent the organisation in external meetings and community events.
- Ensure all organisational, contractual, and funding requirements are met consistently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Substantial experience in leading and managing services and teams.
- Proven ability in effective contract management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues and non-clinical mental health services.
- Excellent organisational, IT, and administrative skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and their application in relevant settings.
- Desirable: Leadership or coaching qualifications; experience in managing complex employee relations.
