About the Role 
Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) is recruiting a Service Desk Administrator to join its headquarters team. This role is responsible for handling system and technical support requests via a helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring a positive user experience and efficient resolution of issues.
Role OverviewYou will manage inbound service requests, provide information to enable resolution, and support colleagues across the organisation. The role requires strong administration and IT skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and manage system and technical support requests via helpdesk ticketing system
- Provide clear, helpful responses to fulfil or enable resolution
- Establish effective working relationships across internal and external partners
- Deliver high-quality administration support under pressure
- Communicate effectively across multiple channels (phone, email, written reports)
- High level of administration and IT skills
- Experience working with internal and external partners
- Ability to work under pressure in a demanding team environment
- Proven success in building effective relationships across organisations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Polite telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative
- Salary/Pay: £27,976 per year
