Job Description

Job Title: Business & Service Designer (Medior/Senior)

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Freelance - 6 months, renewable

Languages: English + French or Dutch

Start Date: ASAP


We are looking for a Business & Service Designer with a medior-to-senior level of experience to support a large-scale digital transformation in the telecom sector. You will be working in a dynamic environment with fast-paced tactical shifts and business challenges.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Define and align project scope with business and squad stakeholders
  • Conduct and analyze user research (quantitative & qualitative)
  • Create actionable deliverables: problem statements, customer archetypes, journey maps, and service blueprints
  • Formulate value propositions and communicate complex ideas visually
  • Develop and simulate business cases (3-5Y forecasts, ROI analysis)
  • Facilitate co-creation workshops and evangelize design thinking methodologies
  • Support squads with UX deliverables (wireframes, user flows, prototypes)
  • Share best practices with fellow designers


Must-Have Experience:


  • 5+ years in business/service design, UX/CX strategy, or innovation consulting
  • Strong knowledge of Design Thinking frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience in creating financial business cases and MVP scoping
  • Background in telecom is a strong asset (not mandatory but highly valued)
  • Confident in facilitating workshops and presenting to stakeholders
  • Used to working with data and translating insights into strategy


Tools & Tech:


  • Expert in Figma and FigJam (mandatory)
  • Miro, Mural, Qualtrics, Tableau, MicroStrategy are a plus
