Service Advisor opportunity in Poole, Dorset with our client, a well-established motor retail dealership. We are recruiting on their behalf for a skilled Service Advisor to lead the customer experience, manage service bookings, and support workshop productivity.

Benefits

• Basic salary of £27,000 per annum, with OTE up to £36,000 uncapped
• Working hours 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday
• Saturday flexibility only when required, paid at the overtime rate
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing after five years' service

Duties

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering a professional service from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover
• Book in vehicles for maintenance and repairs, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer journey
• Provide clear, accurate advice on required service and repair work
• Upsell appropriate service and parts to maximise workshop productivity and customer satisfaction
• Liaise with the workshop team to ensure timely completion and accurate status updates
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records and customer details

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a motor dealership or independent garage
• Strong communication skills and a professional customer-focused manner
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
• Proven rapport building skills with customers and team members
• Knowledge of motor vehicle service processes; parts sales understanding is desirable
