Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family run dealership in Horsham for the position of Service Administrator / Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated motor trade professional looking to join a friendly and professional team. The Service Administrator / Advisor will play a key role in ensuring smooth aftersales operations within a busy dealership environment.

  • Basic salary of £30,000 per annum, with potential bonuses up to £5,000 based on labour sales, customer satisfaction, and upselling
  • Working hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break

Duties:
  • Managing service bookings and scheduling appointments efficiently as a Service Administrator / Advisor
  • Preparing accurate job cards and maintaining all service documentation to high standards
  • Providing administrative support across the service department, including liaising with customers
  • Covering service advisor duties when required, including vehicle updates and customer communication
  • Handling warranty documentation and assisting with warranty claim processes
  • Supporting parts department activities and stock management where appropriate
  • Delivering high levels of customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction as a Service Administrator / Advisor
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency of aftersales processes
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Service Administrator, Service Advisor, or Warranty Administrator is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Able to multitask and work effectively in a hybrid role as a Service Administrator / Advisor
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer focused approach
  • Knowledge of manufacturer warranty procedures is advantageous but not essential
  • A proactive team player with a flexible attitude and a desire to develop within the motor trade
