Job Description
Role OverviewA leading national law firm is seeking a personal injury solicitor (2-5 PQE) to join its specialist Military Personal Injury team. This is a rare opportunity to develop expertise in a highly regarded and niche area of claimant work, supporting Armed Forces personnel and their families following serious or life-changing injuries.The successful candidate will work closely with a recognised expert in military claims while also developing their own caseload. The role involves handling complex, high-value matters including serious injury and catastrophic injury claims, service-related incidents (on and off duty), inquests and associated investigations.Hybrid working is supported, with travel required to meet clients across the UK.Candidate Profile / Experience NeededThis role would suit a claimant Personal Injury Solicitor looking to move into more complex and meaningful work, even without prior military claims experience.Key requirements include: 
- 2-5 years' PQE with strong claimant experience in serious injury, catastrophic injury or complex multi-track PI matters.
- Genuine interest in working with Armed Forces personnel and their families.
- Ability to manage and progress complex cases with sensitivity and attention to detail.
- Strong client care, communication and analytical skills.
- A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable clients.
- Willingness to travel nationally to meet clients (clean driving licence required).
- Interest in business development and building relationships with referrers and support organisations.
