(ideally available for some paid settling-in sessions w/c 11 November)

Four afternoons per week, approx. 16 to 18 hours:

• Monday 12-5pm

• 2+ years of SEN childcare experience, ideally with ADHD and early trauma, and with children who need constant one-to-one supervision


• A trauma-informed, relational approach: calm, predictable, patient and consistent, even when B9 tests boundaries or becomes overwhelmed


• Strong co-regulation skills: noticing early signs of overwhelm and following an agreed plan to help him settle


• Reliable, consistent and punctual, and able to commit to the full temporary period


• A full UK driving licence and own car (B9 travels to activities by car, taxi or public transport; travel costs reimbursed)


• Comfortable and happy with outdoor activities


• Warm, honest communication


• Experience with looked at children and with FASD (or a willingness to learn)


• Training in PACE, Theraplay, Zones of Regulation or similar


• Experience with sensory needs and visual timetables
