Job Description

Consultant - UK Civil/Structural Engineering

We're working with a fast-growing, multidisciplinary consultancy that's making serious moves in the Scottish market. After doubling in size over the past 12 months, they're now looking for a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to join their expanding Glasgow team.


This consultancy offers the close-knit feel of a local office with the backing and resources of an international firm. The Glasgow office is currently at 9 staff with plans to double in size in the next 2-3 years.

The Role
This isn't just a technical role. You'll step into a senior/principal position within a high-calibre team, mentoring two graduate structural engineers and contributing to the delivery of diverse projects across renewables, education, healthcare, and infrastructure. SER certification is ideal but support will be given if you're working towards it.

You'll be working on:

New build schools or extensions (primary, secondary & ASN)

  • Frameworks for various local authorities

Wind farm projects & substations

Full lifecycle delivery from concept through to completion

Structural condition surveys and remedial schemes

CEng with SER certification (or working towards both)
