Come and join our team Senior Waste Projects Officer (Operational)We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Waste Projects Officer (Operational) to lead the operational delivery of Carmarthenshire's Waste Service Change programme.
This pivotal role will take responsibility for managing and coordinating the operational transformation of waste services, ensuring the smooth and effective implementation of new systems, processes, and frontline delivery models.
You will play a critical leadership role within the project team, overseeing operational workstreams, supporting staff, and ensuring that all changes are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with service requirements.
From route optimisation and operational planning to training delivery and health & safety compliance, you will ensure that every aspect of the new waste service is ready for rollout and performs to the highest standard.
Working closely with operational teams, managers, and partners, you will drive continuous improvement and ensure frontline teams are fully prepared and supported through change.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a hands on leadership role in a major transformation programme, with real impact on service delivery and community outcomes.
