We are seeking a Vice President, Product Owner, to join our Loans Enablement Platform team in Manchester, UK, working in a hybrid capacity.
Position Summary:
This role requires a high level of experience in product management, responsible for strategic product planning, managing multiple product backlogs, and mentoring junior Product Owners.
In this role, you'll make an impact by:
Product Execution:
- Writing specs for minor features and contributing to specs for major features.
- Negotiating implementation, making trade-offs to ensure high-quality product launches, escalating issues when necessary, and working with teams to maximize value delivery.
Customer Insights:
- Formulating key business questions and tracking down data to inform decisions.
- Using low-fidelity tools to outline design approaches and collaborating with teams to develop higher-fidelity representations.
- Maintaining regular contact with product users, utilizing multiple sources to prioritize the roadmap.
- Understanding business outcomes and how product decisions influence trade-offs.
- Crafting and communicating a near-term product roadmap in partnership with management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Owning and refining the product backlog and near-term roadmap.
- Managing agile ceremonies, tracking velocity, and identifying efficiencies.
- Owning user stories, refinement processes, and stakeholder management.
- Overseeing technical design decisions, monitoring product performance, and analyzing key metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
