Senior Vehicle/Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
Location: Winchester (Commutable from Southampton, Eastleigh, Chandler's Ford, Andover, Basingstoke)
Salary: Up to £45,000 Basic Salary (DOE) - Reliable base pay with zero corporate target pressure
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday ONLY - STRICTLY NO WEEKENDS

- Serving as the shop floor's senior technical authority across petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles (EV)
- Conducting advanced electrical fault-finding, interpreting CAN bus communication, sensor/actuator live data, and wiring diagrams
- Executing major mechanical repairs, complex component replacements, and high-level vehicle servicing
- Resolving tricky, intermittent issues from initial diagnosis straight through to final mechanical completion
- Mentoring and supporting junior technicians with technical guidance on complex bay challenges
- Delivering clean, high-standard craftsmanship with a "fixed-first-time" focus
- Qualification: NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: Proven track record as a Senior or Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop or dealership
- Skills: Expert diagnostic capabilities paired with strong, core mechanical repair competence
- Licence: Valid full UK Driving Licence (EV/Hybrid certifications are a major bonus)
