Senior VAT Officer - Responsibilities
As part of a 20-person VAT team, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality service and compliance across a diverse client portfolio.
Your Responsibilities:
- Review VAT returns for a varied portfolio of clients: investment funds (especially PE/RE), management companies, banks, Soparfis, commercial and industrial companies
- Communicate directly with clients and tax authorities
- Participate in VAT advisory assignments and due diligence projects
- Be trained and supported by experienced colleagues to help you grow into a recognized VAT expert
Senior VAT Officer - Your Profile:
- Between 2 to 4 years of experience in Luxembourg Indirect Tax Compliance/VAT
- Prior experience with VAT return preparation and review, ideally in the financial, industrial and PE/RE
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg and European VAT legislation
- Client-focused and comfortable managing relationships
- Detail-oriented and rigorous
- Strong with numbers and analytical thinking
- Degree in accounting or economics, ideally with a focus on taxation
- Fluent in English - German is a strong asset
Senior VAT Officer - We offer:
- Up to €70,000 gross in 13 months
- 13th month + discretionary bonus
