Lead strategic UX research that helps product teams make better product decisions.
Build a centralized Research function, establishing consistent research standards and ways of working.
Develop and improve Research Operations (ResearchOps), including processes, tools, participant management, and insight repositories.
Drive product discovery, reducing risk and uncertainty through evidence-based user insights.
Embed AI into research workflows to improve efficiency while maintaining research quality and human oversight.
Increase research maturity by promoting best practices and helping teams become more user-centred
The Role:As Senior User Experience Researcher, you'll lead and deliver research across the clients
product ecosystem, partnering with product teams and fellow researchers, tackling high-risk,
high-uncertainty opportunities: from defining mobile strategies to shaping how AI can create
value for infrastructure professionals across a diverse portfolio of products.
You'll be both a UXR practitioner and Research Operations infrastructure builder. Alongside
conducting impactful research, you'll help support colleagues and scale research through
Research Operations work: frameworks, tooling, and best practices that enable product teams
across the business to move with speed and precision confidently.
Your Day to Day:- Lead end-to-end research on high-risk high-uncertainty strategic initiatives where user understanding is critical to success: from framing research questions and selecting appropriate methodologies through to synthesis, actionable recommendations, and stakeholder alignment;
- Partner closely with product managers, designers, researchers, engineers, business and technical stakeholders to identify risks, reduce uncertainty, and inform strategic decisions;
- Form trusted relationships with stakeholders across product organization, while building confidence in research-driven ways of working;
- Select and apply the most effective research methods for each situation, balancing rigor, speed, and business context to generate evidence-based insights that drive action;
- Conduct specific qualitative and quantitative research activities with professional B2B users across complex workflows and ambiguous problem spaces, specialized domains, and highly technical product environments;
- Use AI as a core part of your research workflow to accelerate recruitment, synthesis, insight generation, knowledge management, and operational efficiency, while keeping human judgment firmly in the loop to validate outputs, protect research quality, and ensure insights remain grounded in real user needs;
- Contribute to Research Operations capability and shared body of knowledge by improving processes, repositories, participant management practices, templates, governance, scalable research toolkits, and documented learnings that strengthen research maturity across the organization;
- Advocate for user research across the organization, promoting best practices and increasing research literacy among cross-functional partners;
- Contribute to the research case studies proving the value of user-centered approach.
- 7+ years of experience in user research, data analysis, service design, or a related discipline;
- Demonstrated experience conducting research within enterprise and agile development environments, engaging specialized professional audiences, and helping teams learn quickly while work is actively taking shape;
- Experience using research to shape product strategy, guide discovery, and change decisions or direction with a proven track record of turning insight into action;
- Hands-on experience incorporating AI tools into research workflows to increase efficiency and scale without compromising on quality;
- Great command of research and analytics tools such as Condens, Qualtrics, Amplitude and similar.
- Strong expertise across qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with the judgment to know when and how each should be applied;
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence decisions in highly technical and cross-functional environments;
- Strong storytelling skills, capable of translating complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations;
- Experience establishing or contributing to Research Operations;
- Experience in managing and scaling up insight repositories;
- Fast and curious learner with a strong self-starter mentality and the ability to become effective quickly within unfamiliar domains;
- Comfort with the unknown and the kind of big, messy topics that do not come with easy answers; willingness to stay curious when things feel complex, partner thoughtfully with different personalities and schools of thought and share best practices with care and empathy by meeting stakeholders where they are.
- Experience working within complex enterprise software, infrastructure, engineering, industrial, or other domain-heavy B2B environments
- Prior exposure to infrastructure business workflows (CAD/CAM, engineering information management workflows, AI integration workflows)
