The Global Central team Senior Training and Content Specialist

The Global Central team supports the Global Operations team by providing tools, training, and support to ensure a seamless Customer Experience for Customers, Restaurants, and Riders.

The role involves working with stakeholders to develop training content that meets market-specific requirements, aiming to deliver a best-in-class service experience. The specialist will participate in L&D projects to improve KPIs through engaging training materials and courses.

About the job

This high-paced role offers variety and diverse responsibilities. Key duties include:

• Designing engaging learning experiences for Contact Centre agents across the Marketplace, ensuring accuracy and innovation
• Creating training across disciplines such as soft skills, compliance, product, processes, and systems
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders within Deliveroo, vendors, and partners
• Ensuring training meets business needs and achieves desired outcomes
• Developing programs for various employee levels, markets, and lines of business
• Staying updated on industry developments, design trends, and L&D methodologies
• Promoting the use of learning technologies for training delivery
• Contributing to training facilitation, including direct agent training and train-the-trainer sessions
• Collaborating on projects aligned with business strategy
• Managing content across drives and LMS platforms

Your Skills & Experience

• Effective communication and stakeholder influence skills
• Experience designing creative, simple learning materials using tools like Google Slides or e-learning software
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Passion for learner-centric design with a track record of delivering effective learning experiences
• Ability to analyze data to identify learning needs
• Basic understanding of instructional design theories and media integration
• Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-changing environments
• Teamwork and collaboration enthusiasm
• Knowledge of French or Italian is a plus

Technical Skills

• Experience with e-learning design tools such as Articulate 360
• Managing e-learning content on LMS platforms
• Understanding of instructional design practices
• Ability to plan, wireframe, and collaborate with SMEs
• Experience managing individual and team projects
• Ability to present a portfolio of work if requested
• Facilitation and learning delivery experience
