Senior Tendering & Design Engineer

GTC, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a Senior Tendering & Design Engineer who would like to help us reach our mission of 'making lasting connections with our customers to improve their lives'.

As the Senior Tendering & Design Engineer your key responsibilities are

• Achieve high customer satisfaction with our quotation / design / variation processes, by providing quotations, new network designs and variations to meet our customer's expectations.
• Design innovated design solutions that satisfy both our customer needs and the needs of internal stakeholders - provide lowest cost for greatest benefit.
• Liaise closely with the customer to ensure quotations / designs meet the client's expectations
• Carry out a survey of off-site works on complex projects.
• Liaise with any required subcontractor to obtain quotations for non- core works (ie. Traffic management, welding, etc)

About you

• Must have full UK driving licence.
• Utility Network Design or Water/ElectricExperience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
