Known for their approachable culture and long-standing client relationships, they are seeking a commercially minded Senior Tax Advisor to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping tax strategy and business direction. What You'll Be DoingAs a senior member of the team, you'll work closely with Directors and clients, providing high-level tax planning and advisory services. You'll be involved in complex restructuring, business planning, and technical tax matters, helping owner-managed businesses navigate challenges and seize opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic tax planning and advisory services across a diverse client base
  • Lead involvement in company restructuring and commercial decision-making
  • Provide expert guidance on income tax, CGT, trusts, estates, and ideally stamp duty
  • Prepare company accounts with a tax advisory perspective
  • Manage HMRC enquiries and negotiations with confidence and clarity
  • Translate complex legislation into practical, actionable advice
  • What We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone with a sharp technical mind and strong commercial instincts-someone who sees beyond the numbers and understands the broader business landscape.
    Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified
  • Strong background in personal and business tax, including CGT, income tax, and trusts
  • Experience advising owner-managed businesses
  • Exposure to corporate restructuring and complex advisory cases
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on clarity and practicality
  • Comfortable navigating HMRC guidance and manuals
  • Bonus: Experience with stamp duty, EMI schemes, and corporate restructuring
