Senior System Administrator Engineer MES

Our client operates in a highly regulated manufacturing environment and is advancing its Digital Plant capabilities. You will join a collaborative, international setting where reliable and compliant Manufacturing IT systems are critical to business continuity.

As a Senior System Administrator Engineer MES, you will support Manufacturing IT Systems within a Digital Plant organization. You will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing MES environments, ensuring system reliability, performance, and compliance in support of critical manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain MES applications (Syncade/SIRIUS) across manufacturing environments.
• Support MES integrations and peripheral devices such as scanners and label printers.
• Manage master data activities, user access controls, and configuration settings.
• Monitor system health, performance, and underlying infrastructure; support upgrades and periodic reviews.
• Provide second-line support for MES incidents and restore system availability based on business continuity and severity levels.
• Execute corrections, continuous improvements, and ensure systems remain in a validated and GMP-compliant state.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of MES systems and integration with manufacturing equipment and enterprise systems.
• Experience working in GxP-regulated environments with GMP compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, system monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience managing user access, master data, and configuration design.
• Technical expertise in SQL, MES Syncade, label development, and MES report development.
• Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to collaborate across teams.
