Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Rail Site Engineer/Surveyor to join our team.
As a Rail Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various surveying and monitoring projects within the railway infrastructure. If you have a background in Surveying/ Engineering on the railway infrastructure and are looking for an exciting opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Expert knowledge of Survey Disciplines including geomatics, datums and coordinate system.
Solid experience in the installation and execution of railway monitoring schemes.
Coordinate with installation teams and others to insure monitoring as per specification.
Knowledge of the rail industry and its methods.
Have the ability to oversee and teach junior members of the team.
Solve site issues based on experience and knowledge.
Prepare reports to high standards and cascade accordingly.
Skills
Well versed in topographic surveying practices including traversing.
Experience win Laser Scanning and post processing.
Proficient in some use of survey software's such as ZWCAD, Civil 3D, Arc GIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, LSS and/or N4ce.
Minimum 10years surveying experience and 5 years rail experience.
Proven experience working in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of surveying in rail.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
