Context :
Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company operating a complex external manufacturing network with over 50 CDMOs and several internal production sites. Within this highly integrated and regulated supply chain, the Senior Supply Network Planner ensures end-to-end planning and operational performance across a portfolio of Drug Product and Device production nodes.
This role combines advanced planning, supply orchestration, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration, both internally and externally, to ensure product availability and business continuity.
Responsabilities :
Production & Supply Planning
- Build and maintain a 36-month Master Production Schedule using tools like OMP+ and SAP.
- Coordinate Distribution Replenishment Plans and manage inter-site stock transfers.
- Align supply plans with customer demand, stock policies, and product lifecycle strategies.
- Manage capacity reviews, frozen horizon constraints, and integration of restamps, validations, and reworks.
Performance & Escalation Management
- Monitor key supply performance indicators (OTIF, ATP, Inventory) and lead root cause analyses.
- Represent supply planning in vendor teams and drive Tier-based performance discussions (S&OE).
- Resolve escalated supply issues and provide timely communication to stakeholders.
Capacity & Scenario Planning
- Support capacity planning processes, including mutual supply agreement preparation with partners.
- Contribute to SIOP cycles and collaborate on long-term capacity expansion projects.
Process Optimization & System Enhancements
- Act as a key user or super user in planning systems and drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Train internal teams on new tools or processes and promote continuous improvement culture.
New Product Launches & Lifecycle Management
- Ensure master data readiness, artwork availability, and alignment of production sequences.
- Coordinate initial supply volumes, batch delivery schedules, and sample agreements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Develop strong partnerships with internal and external supply chain stakeholders.
- Actively participate in vendor meetings and business reviews, representing planning topics.
Your profile :
- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; APICS certification is a plus.
- Proven background in supply planning, ideally in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
- Comfortable with SAP and advanced planning tools (e.g., OMP+), or able to adapt quickly.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Clear and effective communicator, confident with stakeholders
- Ability to manage complexity and work with large datasets
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Familiarity with GMP/GDP requirements is an advantage
