Senior Supply Chain Digital Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Digital Specialist to join a regional Marketplace Supply Chain team supporting EMEA. This role is consumer-focused and digitally driven, with responsibility for improving supply chain performance across digital channels through data-led insights, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable solutions.

In this position, you will help shape the future digital supply chain by identifying operational inefficiencies, translating complex data into clear business impact, and driving initiatives that improve speed, reliability, inventory health, and consumer satisfaction. A key focus of the role will be analysing rejection and cancellation logic, understanding its impact on inventory dynamics, and translating findings into tangible fulfillment and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Management: Drive improvements in digital supply chain KPIs related to speed, reliability, inventory optimisation, and consumer satisfaction using descriptive and predictive analytics.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Lead KPI deep dives and root cause analysis; deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance updates to senior Digital and Supply Chain stakeholders. Conduct in-depth analysis on high-impact issues and recommend long-term solutions.

  • Project Management: Lead and contribute to medium to large cross-functional projects as the digital supply chain subject-matter expert. Apply structured project management tools to define opportunities, actions, and outcomes.

  • Storytelling & Business Case Development: Translate complex data into compelling narratives and clear recommendations. Build robust business cases, support trade-off decisions, and influence prioritisation.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate across supply chain, logistics, digital commerce, planning, and technology teams to identify risks, opportunities, and best-practice solutions with strategic impact.

  • Vision & Leadership: Represent the digital consumer across supply chain and digital teams, ensuring initiatives align with broader digital operations strategy and organisational vision. Lead key supply chain discussions with senior internal and external stakeholders.

  • Consumer & Market Insight: Use data to understand consumer behaviour, market trends, and product life cycle dynamics, linking operational plans to commercial outcomes.

  • Analytics & Tools: Build, maintain, and share supply chain dashboards and reports for both commercial and operational teams.


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, or Digital Operations, ideally within a consumer-focused or E-commerce environment
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management and its impact on commercial and consumer outcomes
  • Experience leading medium to large cross-functional projects, using formal project management methodologies
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities within matrixed, multinational organisations
  • Demonstrated leadership mindset with the ability to drive change and influence without direct authority
  • Advanced analytical skills, including KPI management, root cause analysis, and data visualisation using Excel and/or Tableau
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)

  • Location: Hybrid, Hilversum
  • Initial duration: 5 months (plus potential extensions)
