Job Description
Senior Structural Engineer Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
- Deliver structural design for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber buildings
- Complete structural calculations and prepare technical reports
- Design foundations, beams, columns, retaining walls, and other elements
- Produce drawings and detailed specifications
- Collaborate with architects to integrate designs
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities
- Conduct site inspections throughout construction
- Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, Eurocodes, and BCAR standards
- Support projects through concept, planning, tender, and build phases
- Work on schools, commercial facilities, industrial buildings, refurbishments, and extensions
As a Structural Engineer, you'll be involved in the full project lifecycle-from initial concepts right through to construction. You'll work closely with architects, clients, and contractors to ensure safe and effective structural designs. This is a full-time role requiring on-site presence during construction phases.
What Are We Looking For?:- Degree in Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a consultancy
- Experience with structural analysis software (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, MasterSeries, Robot, or similar)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes
- Strong communication and project coordination abilities
- Full driving licence and own vehicle
- Currently based in Ireland, eligible to work, and available for full-time employment
