Senior Structural Engineer

Our client, a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their London office, located in Zone 1 with excellent transport links. Within a 10-minute walk, you'll find Old Street, Barbican, and Farringdon stations, providing direct access to the Northern, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Elizabeth Line, and Thameslink services. This offers fast, no-change connections across London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Sussex, Heathrow, and even as far as Reading or Brighton.

The Senior Structural Engineer will have experience in multi-storey RC Frame projects and can expect a salary up to £58k or more for more senior individuals, along with flexible and hybrid working, enhanced pension, bonus, and benefits.

This role offers development potential as the company expands across all offices, with a clear pathway to Principal and Associate positions. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience within a UK consultancy, working towards chartership, with excellent knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.

• At least 5 years of UK consultancy experience
• Experience with multi-storey RC frame projects
• Proficiency in British Standards and Eurocode
• Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and load-bearing masonry structures
• BEng or MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or Engineering Design
• Chartered member of IStructE or equivalent
• Experience across sectors including commercial, educational, residential, health, and leisure
• Experience with conceptual design, project management, programming, and team leadership
