Senior Structural Design Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Structural Design Engineer for our Limerick office to work as part of our existing structural design team.

The role will include the design of the following:

• Mainframe steel
• Secondary steel
• Steel Connection design
• Foundation and HD bolts
• Anchor bolts
• Pipe supports and pipe bridges
• Miscellaneous platform design
• Temporary Works design

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum Level 8 degree in Structural Design
• Proficient in the use of Eurocode
• At least 4 years post-graduate structural design office experience
• Experienced in Structural Steel design is essential
• Chartered Engineer or ambition to achieve Chartered status in near future
• Ability to work on projects individually and as part of a team
• Must have current EU Work Permit
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be proficient in English
• The position does not lend itself to WFH, therefore the role is 100% office-based
• Ability to liaise with clients, contractors and consultants
• Ability to instruct and coordinate steel & RC detailers
• Must be proficient in the use of Structural Design Software and as a minimum, Tekla Structural Designer, IdeaStatica, Autodesk Robot, Autodesk Revit
